The theme for our 2024 conference will be:

Achieving growth in a world of changing technology, increased regulation and increasing volume and velocity of data is a dilemma facing business leaders across all industries.

2023 was a year of unprecedented change, especially in the areas of technology and regulation and 2024 is predicted to see more of the same.

Research has identified that senior leaders from countries around the world and across many different industries list technology and regulation as the two most important external forces impacting their decision-making and the profitability of their organizations.

As we move forward into 2024 and beyond with continuing regulatory, security and geopolitical challenges how can technology and data help meet these challenges? What further changes will we see in technology? Will 2024 be the year were Generative AI moves from conceptual to practical as many predict? This will no doubt be dependent on the ‘trust’ in such technology with ‘transparency’ and compliance with regulation also being key.

Many forecasters are predicting an increasing focus on cybersecurity as the digital world continues to grow fuelled by technology such as 5G and the Internet of Things (IoT). What will be the key threats and the role of technology in helping combat these threats?

Along with technology, 2023 saw a significant development in the need for businesses to be aware of and comply with sustainability measures. 2024, will be the year in which companies will need to begin to take environmental, social & governance (ESG) activities seriously. ESG issues are likely to transition from being optional extras to integral elements of corporate strategy, essential for generating sustained value with Supply chains at the centre of the “E” and “S”.

How is the information industry responding to all these developments and what is its role in supporting its customers in a world of constantly changing technology, regulation and increasing data?

Join us in Bangkok on June 5th to 7th to hear from Senior Executives from the Information, Technology, Financial Services and Trade Credit industries discuss these questions as part of the following topics:

  • Technological and regulatory change and its impact on economic growth
  • Technology of the future – the next big game changer?
  • The impact of technology and regulation on growing your business
  • Technology and its role in data management and risk decisioning
  • Regulatory change – an opportunity or threat (or both)
  • Compliance – the role of technology
  • Cybersecurity and fraud in an era of new technology
  • Availability of data in a world of changing technology and regulation
  • The future role of the information industry in an era of technological and regulatory change
