Bisnode is selling its Software-As-A-Service CRM System, Charity, to the Stockholm-based IT-company Softronic. Charity is serving well-established Swedish non-profit organizations and international charity organizations operating in Sweden. The platform is well known in the market and has a strong market position in the growing non-profit sector.

“The divestment of the Charity CRM platform is a natural part in the strategy we have set out at Bisnode. With this divestment we are focusing on our core business, to deliver world class data and analytics. Softronic will continue to develop the platform and support the customers in the best possible way. Bisnode is happy to continue serving the Charity platform now as a data provider,” says Magnus Silfverberg CEO at Bisnode AB.

“To Softronic, the acquisition means further widening and deepening our existing long-term commitment to non-profit organizations. We are currently delivering web based solutions to fundraising organizations and will now be able to provide a complete Software as Service solution for the fundraising and charity segment. The investment therefore complements our existing business, which mainly focuses on member organizations such as trade unions, the unemployment insurance agencies and non-profit organizations that currently serve a total of more than 4 million members,” says Anders Eriksson, CEO of Softronic AB
