Alibaba Launches Summit to Address Fake Products

The Alibaba Group held an inaugural Rights Holders Collaboration Summit as part of a new drive to display its determination to fight against counterfeits and Intellectual Property (IP) infringement on the group’s online platforms. The summit attracted more than 100 domestic Chinese and international brands and trade associations, including Louis Vuitton, Apple, the Chinese British Business Council (CBBC) and the Chinese British Business Council (CBBC)

In addition, Alibaba has launched a new IP Joint-Force System, an online platform designed to streamline IP-related communications between brands and Alibaba. The system allows brands to identify infringing products and inform Alibaba in order to facilitate the removal of the infringing listing.
