Cortera®, a provider of business-to-business payment and purchase data and insights for U.S. companies, announced its Cortera Pulse, a B2B intelligence solution, has been named a 2013 Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) Content CODiE award finalist for the Best Business Information Solution category.

Finalists in the Content categories represent the best products, technologies and services created by or for media, publishers and information services providers. CODiE Award winners will be announced during a special luncheon on January 31 in New York City during the SIIA’s annual flagship conference for information industry leaders, IIS 2013: Breakthrough.

Cortera Pulse automates the process of monitoring an unlimited number of B2B customers, prospects and suppliers to enable users to be aware of any changes that could impact their business relationships.  Cortera Pulse subscribers receive daily alerts of any change to their customers’ portfolios – credit score changes, relevant news, bankruptcy filings, tax liens, civil judgments, growth clues, personnel changes and more. The system covers more than 20 million public and private companies.

The CODiE Awards, originally called the Excellence in Software Awards, were established in 1986 by the Software Publishers Association (SPA), now SIIA, so pioneers of the then-nascent software industry could evaluate and honor each other’s work.  Since being established in 1986, the CODiE Awards program has recognized more than 1,000 companies for achieving greatness in the software and information industries.
