Competition in the North American commercial credit information market is heating up with the entry of the European Creditsafe Group, which announced that it will be locating its North American Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
“We are expanding into the North American marketplace and the offices on Pond Road will act as our USA national headquarters.” said David Knowles, marketing director for the Creditsafe Group. “Initially some 50 staff will be employed for the launch later this year, but the company foresees that number growing to over 250 within the next five years.”
“The office space available to us at Pond Road, its connectivity, and the talent pool in the local community, made this a natural choice for us when fixing a location for our American launch,” added Creditsafe USA President Matthew Debbage.
Privately owned and independently minded Creditsafe is looking to change the way business information is used by providing high quality data in an easy to use format that everyone in an organization can benefit from. The company was launched in Norway in 1997, Creditsafe has offices in the UK, Germany, France, Sweden, Ireland, the Netherlands and Belgium employing over 500 people and has more than 50,000 customers.
