According to the latest survey by the Verband der Vereine Creditreform Germany and the ZEW (Zentrum fuer Europaeische Wirtschaftsforschung GmBH) the employment situation in Germany’s information technology sector indicates a positive development for the first three months of 2012. About two-thirds of respondents reported no change in employment, 24% of respondents will increase their workforce and approximately 10% of respondents intend to reduce the number of employees. Net 14% of information technology companies are planning to increase their staffing levels during the first quarter of 2012. This is a positive trend which was observed already during the fourth quarter of 2011.
