Robert Staubmann becomes authorized signatory and thus a member of the management – Julia Kössner succeeds him as Head of Innovation Lab

KSV1870 Information GmbH made changes to its management team at the beginning of the year. Ing. Robert Staubmann, MA, previously Head of Innovation Lab, was appointed authorized representative as of January 1, 2024. He thus complements the management of KSV1870 Information GmbH with managing director Gerhard Wagner and authorized signatory Günther Fasching. Julia Kössner will take over his previous role with immediate effect, becoming the new Head of Innovation Lab, the in-house innovation center.

After completing his school career at the HTL Mödling, Robert Staubmann (40) started his professional career in technical sales and data management, where he took on his first management responsibilities at an early stage. At the same time, the native of Lower Austria studied “Corporate Management & e-Business Management” part-time at the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems and successfully completed his studies in June 2010.

In February 2020, Robert Staubmann moved to KSV1870, where he analyzed existing products and evaluated potential markets as an innovation and product manager right from the start. In January 2021, Staubmann took over management of the internal innovation center as Head of Innovation Lab. In the following years, the passionate product manager’s focus was on innovation, project and program management as well as scouting. During this phase, the KSV1870 credit rating label and e-commerce solutions such as SmartRiskService were developed under his direction. In January 2024, Staubmann was appointed authorized representative of KSV1870 Information GmbH and has since been responsible for the areas of data analytics, product and partner management, IT sourcing, scouting and innovation at management level.

Julia Kössner new Head of Innovation Lab

After graduating from the Federal Commercial Academy in Waidhofen an der Thaya with a major in information management and technology, Julia Kössner (35) studied at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, specializing in the area of ​​“corporate management and controlling”. The native of Lower Austria started her professional career in the area of ​​data analysis and forensic investigation of fraud and corruption cases. In January 2020, Kössner moved to KSV1870 Information GmbH as a data analyst, before being promoted to deputy head of the internal Innovation Lab a year later. Her main focus was on data analysis and evaluation.

Julia Kössner is now taking over as Head of Innovation Lab and is responsible for the areas of innovation management and scouting, data analytics and product and program management. In her new role, Kössner will primarily focus on evaluating new technologies, markets and cooperation partners. In addition, her goal is to set priorities in the areas of portfolio evaluation and market analysis, to create new analytics solutions and to advance the development of prototypes through to implementation.
